Free preliminary trademark search · Pilot release

Don't read every trademark bulletin.
See the signals.

MarcaFaro lets you screen applications published in TÜRKPATENT trademark bulletins using spelling, Turkish phonetic similarity and Nice-class signals. Explore published applications with bulletin and source-page references to compare potentially similar names. These are preliminary results, not a statement of current registration or ownership. Automated alerts and advanced analysis are not yet available.

For trademark attorneys, IP firms, and brand-portfolio teams.

Nightly data maintenance

Background data-quality checks assess bulletin sources and coverage. Visible research results remain limited to verified published material.

Decisions & precedent intelligence

Once an official source of reasoned YİDK decisions is verified, source-linked precedent research can be developed. Bulletin publication sections alone do not prove decision outcomes.

The index updates as PDFs are processed. Partial bulletins, missing text, figurative marks and pronunciation variants affect results. Similarity scores are not legal risk probabilities.

FROM DATA TO ACTION

Each bulletin becomes a traceable workflow.

Rather than exposing raw PDFs alone, our pipeline retains source references, parser versions and matching rationale.

  1. 1
    Bulletin received

The source is archived unchanged, with its SHA-256 identity checked.

  2. 2
    Applications parsed

Application number, date, owner, mark, Nice classes and goods/services are structured.

  3. 3
    Candidates narrowed

Class overlaps and fast text/phonetic signals reduce unnecessary comparisons.

  4. 4
    Signals explained

Users can see the source bulletin/page and which signals contributed to a score.

  5. 5
    Review tracked

Review, monitor, dismiss false positives or refer the candidate for professional review.

TRUST & TRACEABILITY

You should be able to ask, “Why did I get this alert?”

MarcaFaro is designed as an auditable decision-support system, not a black box. Every match should show its source and rationale.

Source and file integrity

Bulletin, application and page references. PDF SHA-256 checks file integrity, not registration status.

Portfolio privacy

We do not intend to use private client/portfolio data for general model training.

Search privacy

Public similarity reports omit applicant names and cannot be exported.

Independent platform

MarcaFaro is not a TÜRKPATENT service or representative.

FAQ

Common questions before you start.

Does MarcaFaro file trademarks or oppositions?

No. MarcaFaro is a trademark intelligence and decision-support product. It does not provide legal advice, legal representation or filings with TÜRKPATENT.

Why does the opposition deadline matter?

Under Article 18 of Turkish Industrial Property Law No. 6769, an opposition to a published trademark application must be filed within two months of publication. The planned alert aims to highlight deadlines as well as potential conflicts.

TÜRKPATENT information ↗
Does the first version support logo similarity?

Current preliminary search uses text, phonetic and Nice-class signals. Semantic, logo and visual similarity require separate future validation.

Can I use the service now?

Free search, dashboard and preliminary similarity features are available. Bulletin coverage and index freshness vary; this is no substitute for professional assessment. Automated alerts and portfolio features are in pilot development.
